Claire and Molly opened the Rain or Shine Coffee House in the Spring of 2011, and served the South Tabor neighborhood until August of 2020 in the midst of the global pandemic. Rain or Shine provided a positive, warm, and inclusive environment for the community, with friendly staff and high quality coffee and bagels. It was a place to gather, study, relax, and enjoy.

When Evan and his family heard their favorite local coffee shop was closing for good, he began discussing the possibility of taking over first with his wife, then with Claire and Molly, so that Rain or Shine might live on and continue serving the community. Moving forward, Rain or Shine will rely on employees old and new, the quality you've come to expect, and the support of this great community to make it through the COVID pandemic together.
